I have a problem regarding sintering.

I was involved in sputtering of oxide materials. To make targets I use solid state sintering technique. I tried to make 2 inch pallets. But whenever i tried i end up with some problem. I used 5 tonnes uniaxial load at first time, after sintering it in 950 deg cel., the pallet got nearly 5-8 mm shrinkage in diameter.

First I thought the problem is with the quality of oxide I used. Then I changed it to other brand. This time I used Merck (99%). And I used 10 tonnes load, 950 deg sintering temp. This time the pallet become shapeless resulted in buckling.

Please help to sort it out. At least suggest some reference.
